Day Three Hundred & Twenty-One. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-One. - Christmas Decor. - We ventured out into the cold to look for Christmas Cards and ended up having no luck, strange right? Maybe I'm just too picky. Anyway, I found this adorable little Santa to hang on our front door. And I stood in line for a good thirty minutes just to purchase him, gotta love the Christmas Crowds.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty. - Dog Run. - Since our precious little pup loves to chew on the outside of our house we decided to make her a little dog run so she can still have the back yard but not all of it, until she can learn not to chew up things. Mr. V and my Brother-In-Law spent all afternoon putting this together for her. Don't worry, she has a huge dog house that she will be able to keep warm in.

Day Three Hundred & Nineteen. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Nineteen. - Turkey Leftovers. - Another truly wonderful thing about Thanksgiving is all the left over food. Since we had a twenty-one pound turkey and only seven people for dinner we have quite a bit left over. Now I have to find some tasty recipes to make with all this turkey!

Day Three Hundred & Eighteen. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Eighteen. - Our Thanksgiving Dinner. - The "K" family and the "V" family, minus one "V" sibling, got together to celebrate Thanksgiving at our home. I decided that since we have a beautiful house now that we were going to host Thanksgiving. And while I had a great time cooking and entertaining I will admit it was a lot of hard work and by nine that evening I was already falling asleep on the couch. I'm so happy that our families were able to spend time together, and with us, on this Holiday. I'm also happy that my very first Turkey turned out quite tasty. I have so many reason to be Thankful and I am truly blessed.

Day Three Hundred & Seventeen. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Seventeen. - The Eve of Thanksgiving. - My parents, and brother, drove up the day before Thanksgiving and didn't end up getting to our place until around eight in the evening. My brother showed up first since my parents had to stop and run and errand, and made a wrong turn. I still can't get over the fact that in seven short months my little brother will be twenty one. The kids are all grown up now.

Day Three Hundred & Sixteen. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Sixteen. - Feeling Festive. - My place of employment decided to put up their Christmas Tree a bit early but I do have to admit that it looks very pretty and does make me very excited for Christmas and putting up, and decorating, my tree at home.

Day Three Hundred & Fifteen. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Fifteen. - Peanut Butter Cookies. - I sent Mr. V to the grocery store with a pretty long list that included Peanut Butter Cookies for the upcoming Holiday. What I did not specify is that I wanted to bake them myself and have our house smell of fresh baked cookies. I probably should have done home made cookies but I wasn't able to find a recipe in time. Anyway, he brought home these store made cookies and I couldn't help but chuckle. Oh, don't worry, I eventually got to bake my cookies just like I had planned all along.

Day Three Hundred & Fourteen. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Fourteen. - First Vet Visit. - Let me just say that this was a pretty stressful day. First of all my adorable little girl does not like the car at all, and mind you I had a head ache from the previous night, and continued to bar in her kennel while we drove a half an hour to the Vet. Finally we reach our destination only to find out that she has vomited all over the crate and her leash. Luckily we had a spare leash so we take her inside and patiently wait to see her doctor. And boy was she smelly! We went to see how much she weighed and I had to hold her onto the scale but it's somewhere between 27-30 pounds. She met her doctor and really seemed to like him and had no problem getting her temperature taken or being examined by the doctor. What she did not like was her shots and getting her nails cut. Finally the doctor had to bring her back into the room with us to give her the last set of her shots. One nail was clipped and then she escaped and ran around the clinic like a mad pup. Needless to say they didn't try to clip any others and sent us on our way. Hopefully next time things will go a bit more smoothly.

Day Three Hundred & Thirteen. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirteen. - Comedy Club. - The girls invited me to a little evening out to the comedy club and then bar hopping afterwards. Although Mr. V was not invited, hence the girls night, he told me to have fun and that he was perfectly content stay home. I was a little nervous to go without him but I had a great time with the girls and I'm really glad we went. Maybe next time he will be able to tag along.

Day Three Hundred & Twelve. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twelve. - Movie Rentals. - It's been a long time since we have rented from Blockbuster. We decided to stop by and see what they had on their shelves and it just so happened that we found these two, amazing, movies. Mr. V is a huge fan of John Cusack so we just had to rent that one. And I found Chaos Theory interesting by the cover and the description of the movie. Both movies were amazing and I recommend anyone to see them. Just remember to take your movies back on time, we don't want any late fees now!

Day Three Hundred & Eleven. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Eleven. - Fall Leaves. - I really wanted to capture the beautiful colors of the leaves for the changing season but in our neighborhood we don't have any huge trees yet, since the houses were just built and trees planted, so I just took one of our tiny tree in the front yard. I can't wait until the tree grows bigger and full of leaves!

55 more days.♥

Day Three Hundred & Ten. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Ten. - Fisherman's Stew. - I've been noticing that since the weather has gotten colder I've been making a lot of stews and this is one of them. I'm sure it doesn't look appetizing in this photo but I was really surprised how good it actually tasted! I'll have to post the recipe another day, though.

Day Three Hundred & Nine. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Nine. - Broken Dinnerware. - This is the soup/cereal bowl that has bent sent to us broken, twice, and now we are waiting for JcPenny to send us a new one. Hopefully this time it will be in one piece.

Ready for the day before it had begun.

I wake up to see the bathroom light on and Mr. V standing at his night stand with his phone in his hand sratching his head. I then look at my phone to find out that it's only four in the morning and tell him to turn off the light and then roll over to try and get back to sleep, all the while our dog is barking, but instead he wants to have a conversation.

Mr. V - When I looked at my phone before it said 8am and now it says 4am.
Me - Just get back in bed and go to sleep.
Mr. V - I took a shower and brushed my teeth thinking it was time to go to work.
I then start laughing.
Mr. V - It's not funny I was mad at you because you weren't getting up and it was already 8am. And I was mad at my phone because my alarm didn't go off. I was also wondering why the sun wasn't up.
At this point I'm awake and cracking up.
Me - Let's just go back to sleep.
He finally gets back in bed with wet hair.
Mr. V - Now I'm not even tired.
He wants to have a conversation now.

Over and over again he would say " I feel so stupid". I tried not to laugh but it was pretty hilarious. I've had dreams about being late to work but I've never gotten ready at 4am, I guess he was eager to work today.♥

Day Three Hundred & Eight. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Eight. - Bubble Bath. - I would have taken this shot with a flash but I thought it made the water look strange so instead I get grainy non-flash photos. Anyway, I had a terrible headache all day that was seriously making my head pound and feel like it was going to explode. No, I was not hung over either. My stomach was also hurting all day and I was just in pain all around. After I got home and ate dinner Mr. V drew me a bath to see if it would help. I think this is the third time I've taken a bath in our new tub and I'm not gonna lie, it needs to happen more often, it was pretty relaxing!

Day Three Hundred & Seven. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Seven. - Clothes Shopping. - We dropped by JcPenny to exchange a broken piece of dinnerware, for the second time, and ended up using our gift cards to buy a new outfit for the each of us. Since I only have one pair of slacks that actually fit me I was going to try to find a pair, in black, to be able to wear. Well apparently I'm just too damn short to find a pair that actually fits me in length and width, so I just ended up buying a skirt and a cute sweater. Mr. V ended up finding a really nice white button down shirt, most of his shirts are dark brown/black, and a black and white sweater to go over the shirt. He looks so handsome! I guess you could say it's a early Christmas present to ourselves.

Day Three Hundred & Six. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Six. - Six Months Old. - Looking at photos of when Bella was just a tiny pup makes me wish we had another one. But when she throws her temper tantrums it makes me glad that the puppy stage is half way over, I think. I really need to get her trained soon, too. Anyway, she's gotten so big that she can stand all the way up to the middle of my back. I can't imagine how big she is going to be when she is full grown.

Day Three Hundred & Five. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Five. - Christmas Party. - Each year our company hosts a Christmas party for all our employees. Last year I was unable to attend since Mr. V had to work and am looking forward to attending this years party. I threw together a little flyer for everyone to sign if they were attending. I really wish we had a color printer because the snow men would have come out so cute but such is life.

Wordless Wednesday.

Wordless Wendesday.

Day Three Hundred & Three. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Three. - Just Waiting. - A photo of me waiting for our Manager to arrive at work. Nothing special.

Day Three Hundred & One. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & One. - Blurry Night. - Since it had been raining all day and evening I was going to try and catch the rain as it was falling while outside watching. After a number of shots I, dissapointingly, gave up knowing that I wouldn't be able to capture what I wanted. So, this is my awful attempt at capturing rain drops, you can seem a little stream of rain falling off the edge of the roof if you look close enough. Fail.

One Month Anniversary.

Today marks the one month anniversary of our marriage. Yes, that's right, we've already been married a month. Seems just like yesterday I was walking down the aisle. Tonight I plan to make Mr. V his favorite meal, Baked Steak Burritos.

Here's to many more months celebrating our marriage, Mr. V. I love you, Honey.

Day Three Hundred. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred. - Birthday Girl. Tonight we attended my friend, Sara's, birthday party. These are the gifts her room mates bought her. She's a huge fan of the Cowboys, and Romo, so it's only fitting that she have a plaque of him. The night was filled with good conversation, laughter and friends.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Nine. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Nine. - That Time of the Year. - With the weather getting colder and colder each day it's only apporpraite that shoes change as well. No more open toed heels, or flip flops, for me it's time to break out the knee high boots and closed toed ones. Makes me excited about Winter and the weather getting colder!

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Eight. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Eight. - Surprising Gas Prices. - I was so happy to see this as we pulled up to the pump. And even more happy to know that it took less then 25 dollars to completly fill up my tank. I really hope the prices either stay at this price or drop even lower. It's great to see them finally going down instead of up.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Seven. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Seven. - Cleaning Up. - I finally decided to go through all the wedding decorations and put them away after putting it off for a good amount of time, I'd say. Now, at least, our computer room is less cluttered.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Six. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Six. - Sprint Cell Service. - Since Mr. V has been having many problems with his phone as of late he decided to take it up to the Sprint Store and have it replaced. Not only did he not get it replaced but he also came home pretty angry, to say the least, since the were giving him the run around on what needs to be done and no one could give him a direct answer. Fear not, though, it shall be fixed. You'd think that since he was employed by Sprint that they would actually take good care of him.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Five. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Five. - Driving Home. - Proof that it is dark as I am going home from work at six in the evening. I just had to catch the last glimpse of sunshine since I hardly see it anymore.

Monday, November 3, 2008

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Four. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Four. - Sweet Treats. - All week I had been craving something sweet so after dinner Mr. V and I went to Sonic. Although I probably shouldn't be spending money on things I don't really "need" it sure did hit the spot and my craving was gone.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Three. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Three. - Progreso, Mexico. - Just a little bag Mr. V bought for me in Mexico at a shop on the strip near the beach. We also bought his little sister a lime green necklace for taking care of Bella while we were honeymooning.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Two. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Ninety-Two. - " I think I broke my butt". - Imagine your spouse screaming out in pain and you come running into the next to room to see what happens and they say this to you. Your first response should be to see what actually happened and try to help make them feel better, right? Not for me. I laughed and then I made sure he was okay, which he was of course. For some odd reason I found it hilarious and told him I am totally putting this on my blog.
