Small Update.

Our internet is up and running thanks to my darling fiancee. That's right, the guys on Tuesday never showed up, he fixed it himself. It was one little wire that wasn't connected and just hanging down so he connected and now we aren't paying for something that we aren't using. They are suppose to come Monday to fix the dishwasher so hopefully they will show up.

I've been up since six this morning and I'm falling asleep as I'm typing this so I'll have to update on everything that has been going on lately. And trust me, it's been a lot.

Day One Hundred & Forty-One. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Forty-One. - Glimpse of a Sunrise. - This is proof that I was up before, even, the birds were. Six in the am to be exact. It was a beautiful morning though the air was still and everything was quiet and peaceful. The air was cool and there was a slight breeze. I loved the way the sky looked, too, so I just had to capture it. Especially since I'll probably never be up this early again on a Saturday.

Day One Hundred & Forty. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Forty. - Invitations By Dawn. - After months and months of looking and searching I finally made a decision on our invitations for the wedding. I've also decided to theme is "fall/autumn", which is self explanatory, and I think these fit perfectly. Simple yet elegant.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Nine. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Nine. - The Old Place. - We ended up spending the whole afternoon cleaning our old apartment to get it in tip top shape for the "after move out inspection". I even went as far as washing the walls so they couldn't charge us for that too. Then I took pictures of everything in case they wanted to charge us for something. Luckily the office woman said it was the cleanest apartment she has ever seen, ever, that made me feel pretty damn good and helped me worry less about paying for repairs.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Eight. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Eight. We're Back Online, Literally. - "William - You took a picture of this?" "Me - Of course, this is a pretty important day honey because I was starting to run out of things to organize."

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Seven. - The Finished Result. - And here is the result of our beautiful, amazingly quiet, ceiling fan. I really think it looks a lot better in person, but I do love that you can flip the fan blades and have a darker color or a lighter color. Of course I prefer the darker color, obviously.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Six. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Six. - Just A Summer Day. - Seriously this is one of my favorite pictures I've taken in a while. What's not to love about it? Jeans, flip flops, lounge chairs and grilling out. That's the beauty of a back yard.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Five. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Five. - The First Project of Many. - Since we opted out of the builders installing our fans, and were starting to feel the wrath of the heat here, we decided it was time to get a fan for our bedroom. I must say that my fiancee is pretty handy when it comes to things around the house. And I love how excited he gets to have a project and use his brand new power drill. Seeing in the fan in Lowe's I really wasn't too excited about it but once we got home and it was all put up I really started to like it. And it's amazingly quiet and matches everything in our bedroom perfectly.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Five. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Five. - Dinner Time! - After spending a good amount of time in Wal-Mart, which I have to say I hate because it's way too big, I finally made a decision on what to cook for tonight's dinner. Excitedly I hurried home to cook in my very own brand new kitchen. What's not to love about it, honestly? There is so much space that one person can cook while the other does the dishes without being on each others nerves. Pretty much the kitchen of my dreams. And yes, I'm a huge nerd like that that I get overly excited about cooking and my kitchen.

It's Offical.. We're HomeOwners!

I'm updating via the mobile device, which kills my thumbs, because our internet is not up and running yet.

Anyway, closing wasn't as nerve wracking as I expected it to be, except driving a hour to get there, we were done within an hour.

After that we headed to our apartment packed up a few boxes, as much as our cars would take, and then got our keys and started moving in right away. The house is perfect and everything that needed to be touched up has been. As of right now it's spotless, besides television cords and empty boxes, and I hope that I'm able to keep it up as good as it looks now.

The only thing left at the old place are odds and ends and our boxed food and some in the fridge. Our new one is amazing by the way and I have no idea what to do with all the space.

Speaking of space I have so many cabneits and have only been able to fill a few. I guess that's an excuse to buy new things, right, and that goes for my huge walk-in closet!

Moving two apartments in two days and then working today has left me exhaused and sore. With that said I'm going to hit the sheets, early morning again!

And I promise I'll update my Project 365 soon! I'm so behind but I have been taking the photos each day.

Ow. Hand cramps.

Edit : I lied everything isn't so perfect.. We found out why our phone/internet isn't working. The house has no dial tone, there is one outside but not inside, and we have to get the builder to fix it. I hope they really do send someone out Tuesday as they said. This really worries me. And now our Dishwasher is leaking, I suppose that's what we get for not upgrading it. Let's hope it's fixed Tuesday along with the wiring.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Four. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Four. - Our Spacious Living Room. - No we did not buy new couches instead our room mate let us use his since ours is pretty uncomfortable and small. It's starting to look and feel like home, already.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Three. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Three. - The New 'Fridge. - Since the boys were busy moving all the big things from our, and our room mates, apartments I got the privilege of waiting around the house for our new 'fridge to be delivered. While the delivery men were setting up the 'fridge I was pretty nervous watching them wedge it into the spot since I just knew parts of the walls were going to get nicked up. Luckily, they did a great job and nothing happened to our walls. I'm loving the darker color and the fact that it's so spacious. Although I wish the salesman would have told it was not a Energy Star instead of letting us believe that it was.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Closing Day! - After getting up bright and early we nervously headed across town to our title companies office. After signing in, and seeing a welcome sign with our names on it, we sat in the waiting room until a young friendly girl greeted us and took us into what they call a "closing room". We thought that we would be dealing with many more people then just one but luckily we only had to make awkward conversation with the girl that greeted us. After spending about thirty minutes signing a dozen and one papers the house is now finally, truly, ours. What a big sigh of relief.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Living Room Full of Boxes. - Instead of a living room it is taken over by boxes and piles of things we were going through before moving day.

Too Early To Be Awake.

Me : I feel like a disc jockey, look at my boots.

William : A disc jockey? That's a person on the radio, babe.

Me : Well whatever, I feel like a jockey then. Seriously look at my boots!

William : I'm so putting this in my blog!

Proof that my brain does not function properly at 8 o' clock in the morning.

Day One Hundred & Thirty. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty. - Sunglasses in May. - I suppose it's going to be one hell of a summer since it's already in the 90s, hence the need for sunglasses, each and every day. And to think, it's only going to get hotter.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Nine. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Nine. - A Day In The Park. - While driving out of our neighborhood we decided to stop at this cute little park across the street and go for a walk since the weather had been gorgeous all week and I was dying to be outside. This cute little, green!, bench is were we stopped to rest after walking around the little paths.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Eight. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Eight. - Kitchen Sink. - Can I just say that one of my favorite rooms in our house is the kitchen? And I totally love our beautiful stainless steel DEEP kitchen sink, eben my biggest cassarole dish can fit in it completly without sticking out the top. Love.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Seven. - Laundry Day. - Since my wonderful finacee decided to sort and wash all the laundry for us I suppose the least I could do is put it away while I'm sitting at home waiting for him to come home from work, haha.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Six. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Six. - Resting His Eyes. - I swear I only walked out of the room for a few seconds and came back and he was sound asleep. I sure wish I could fall asleep that quickly. Poor thing, he's just not used to waking up that early, we had a meeting with our builder for a walk through to make sure everything was looking perfect in our home.

Two Boxes Packed.. A Million To Go.

Last night I started boxing up all the things in our closet with the boxes that we used last year to move into this apartment. So I'm pretty proud of myself for re-using the boxes and am feeling a bit "green". WIth less then a week to go we've really got to get on the ball. Maybe tomorrow I can figure out how to use the tape gun properly when I'm to half asleep from a very long day.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Five. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty Five. - Tape Gun. - I spent at least an hour, searching three different stores, trying to find cheap clear packing tape to go in our tape gun that we bought last year when we moved. Too bad I couldn't even get the damn thing to work right and ended up only getting one box done. I fail.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Four. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Four. - Upside Down Packing. - Apparently I was so excited to start packing that I ended up packing the box upside down. It still works all the same so I guess it's not that big of a deal. I found it pretty amusing though!

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Three. - Project 365.

Day One Hundered & Twenty-Three. - Kitchen Appliances. - This day our beautiful appliances for the kitchen were put in. I'm in love with that stove and I'm so glad we chose black appliances because white gets dirty way too easily.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Two. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-Two. - Mother's Day. - The family, minus Dad, on Mother's Day. We tried to get some "good shots" and they all ended up being of us being goof balls, as usual, which is our natural state. It was a beautiful day and and even more wonderful outing with my Mother.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-One.

Day One Hundred & Twenty-One. - Clean Bathroom. - And to think that this little bitty bathroom took an hour and a half to clean, mostly on our Oval Tub, but it feels good to have moped floors and clean counters.

Day One Hundred & Twenty. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twenty. - Mini Grocery Trip. - What was suppose to be a trip to the grocery store, enough food to last two days, ended up being a $50.00+ dollar excursion. I guess it's true what they say about not going to the grocery store hungry. And this is proof that I shouldn't be buying groceries, or anything, by myself because I'll buy more then needed.

Day One Hundred & Nineteen. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Nineteen. - Mini-Blinds. - Now these aren't your normal mini-blinds these are the one's that we had to pay extra for and were an actual upgrade for the house. Unlike normal mini-blinds they aren't the flimsy plastic ones and you can hardly see through them, if your outside looking in. Not too shabby, eh?

Day One Hundred & Eighteen. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Eighteen. - Flower Garden. - One of the most exciting things about how our own home is we will be able to plant our own flower, and vegetable, garden. After walking through the Home Depot Garden Center I've become even more excited seeing all the beautiful colors and arrangements.

Day One Hundred & Seventeen. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Seventeen. - Photographer Contract. - I guess that I was so excited about finding a photographer for the big day that even though I mailed the check I forgot to send the contract along with it. Opps! Good thing our photographer is amazing and totally understood. Have I mentioned she's going to shoot Engagement, type, Portraits for us at no cost? We really got lucky with her and I'm glad we found her!

Day One Hundred & Sixteen. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Sixteen. - Wine + Cooking = Love. - What's a better way to unwind after a long, stressful, day then a glass of red wine and some cooking? Maybe some people don't understand why cooking would be helpful but for me, since I love cooking, it helps relieve a lot of stress. Plus, it's about damn time I open those bottles of wine that I got for Christmas.

Day One Hundred & Fourteen. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Fourteen. - Out Past My Bedtime! - This is probably one of the worst photos I've ever taken, ever, but I was in a rush before it turned midnight! Anyway, I ended up going over to my baby cousin's, I say "baby" she's almost sixteen, house after dinner to see the Bridesmaid's Dress she bought earlier that day. And, of course, I took my dress along with me to show her and my Aunt. First of all her dress is gorgeous, and it just needs a few alterations, and she looks great in it. Secondly, I tried on my dress for the third time and I've lost weight. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I ended up staying over a little bit longer then I expected, we watched National Treasure - the new one, but I had a really good time. It was nice to have a little social interaction, even if it was with a teenager.

Day One Hundred & Thirteen. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirteen. - Green Cuisine. - I have to admit this was pretty tasty although the portions weren't very bigger, I'll have to by two bags next time, but to really know if it was "green" or not, well, your guess is as good as mine. Gotta love run-on sentences.

Day One Hundred & Twelve. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Twelve. - This Means It's Done! - It's been a long journey but it's finally coming to a close, literally, since our carpet has now been installed. I'm very happy with all the colors we chose and they blend well together. It's been amazing seeing our house built from ground up.
