Day Three Hundred & Fifty-Two. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Fifty-Two. - Mimosas. - Being the procrastinators that we are we stopped by Wal-Mart and bought some cheap Champagne and Orange Juice for me to drink on this New Years Eve. Last year we actually went to the liquor store and bought some decent Champange but I suppose it tastes all the same, right? Anyway, after getting our drinks we headed over to some friends of ours to bring in the New Year. They got married last year, I believe, and have an adorable six month old baby girl. We spent the night eating junk food, drinking and playing Guitar Hero. A very relaxed, fun, way to start our New Year.

Day Three Hundred & Fifty-One. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Fifty-One. - Perfect Pair. - We recieved this card, a bit late, from Mr. V's Dad and Step-Mother. I had not expected a card since we did not get one last year and I am even more surprised that the card is absolutely adorable. Great Son. Sweet "daughter". Perfect Pair. .

Day Three Hundred & Fifty. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Fifty. - Brand New Bag. - Mom let me borrow her bag that I had eyed while we were visitng and I just got around to switching from my Black and White D&G to this. This bag is a lot easier to find things in but it's alot better then my bag before. One of these days I will find a bag that I love and have no complaints with.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Nine. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Nine. - My Christmas Gift. - Mr. V finally assembled my Christmas Gift which is obviously a vanity chair. When building our home I made a special point to have them put in a place where I could have a vanity and sit and do my make-up and hair. I've always thought of them as fancy and just had to have one so I'm really excited about this. Now I'll actually have a place to sit instead of on the counter or on the bathroom floor. Thanks hubby, your so thoughtful.♥

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Seven. - Childhood Friend. - A friend of mine, Danielle, came in town for the Holiday's and we decided to get together Downtown for a couple of drinks. I've known Danielle since we were kids and we lost touch for a few years and then found each other again. This girl and I used to be attached at the hip. It was a nice evening out reminisicing about things we did when we were kids.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Six. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Six. - Merry Christmas! - While waiting on our porkchops to finish cooking we had some dessert since everyone was really hungry and tired of waiting. This Christmas Cupcakes were so delicious and such a cute idea. My Mom put these little plastic green and red rings ontop of them for decoration. We had a really great time at my parents sitting around watching television and playing with the kittens outside. The best part was when my Dad tried to sing karaoke Christmas Songs.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Five. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Five. - Ready to Bake! - I ended up getting out of work early, at five instead of six, on Christmas Eve and rushed home to prepare my pies before Mr. V left work at six. After mixing all my ingredients together for the pie I stuck it in the oven to bake. I ended up using a pre-made graham cracker crust because that's usually what my mother-in-law uses to make with hers. I really hope that it comes out as tasty as it smells!

Day Three Hundred & Forty-One. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-One. - Pumpkin Pie Ingredients. - My Mom asked me to bring a few pies for our Christmas Meal and I decided to make a Pumpkin Pie and a Cheescake. I purchased the ingredients for the pie and decide to make it the day before, we planned to Celebrate together on Christmas Day, and I really hope it turns out as yummy as everyone says it will!

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Three. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Three. - Giving Gifts. - This year I was more excited about giving gifts then actually receiving them. But of course I had to wait until the last minute and did not actually buy any of the gifts I had planned on. I wanted to buy a lot of unique, hand made, gifts but that did not happen. You see my paycheck just happened to land on the 19th, four days before Christmas, so there was no way anything that I ordered online would make it on time unless I spent a lot on the quicker shipping. Money was also an issue this Christmas and I did not have a lot to spend so each person I bought for got only one gift. I suppose it's the thought that counts, right?

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Two. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-Two. - Wrapping Gifts. - I finally decided to get out all of last years gift bags and wrapping paper and start wrapping gifts. Did I actually get anything accomplished? No. Guess I'll have to try again tomorrow.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-One. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty-One. - Classy Couple. - I love that we are in our pajamas looking like nerds but holding wine and I classify that as Classy, haha. Anyway, instead of having a night out like we have been since Thanksgiving pratically we decided to stay home and drink the wine we bought a few weeks back and watch movies together. It was very nice to relax and around my husband without having to worry about loud music and terrible waitresses.

Day Three Hundred & Forty. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Forty. - Foggy Morning. - The weather has been pretty nasty lately with wind, rain and fog. As I was driving to work this morning I could hardly see in front of me and as I made my way out of our subdivision I waited until the cars passed and then snapped this photo of the field in front of me. I do love Winter but I also miss the warmth of the sun.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Nine. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Nine. - Christmas Cards. - I love getting mail that isn't bills or junk mail so when I saw these four envelopes I got pretty excited. I also love getting Christmas Cards and these are the first ones we have received this Holiday.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Eight. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Eight. - The Supreme Vegetable.- - For the first time, ever, I cooked with asparagus. It's one of the good for you food's that Mr. V actually likes, he's really picky, and I have to admit it's pretty tasty.

Winter Is Upon Us.

Only in the Lone Star State can it go from seventy in the afternoon to freezing by the end of the night. It's true what they say "If you don't like to weather here, just wait five minutes."

FYI, this is my four hundredth blog entry - exciting!

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Seven. - All Bundled Up. - As the weather is growing colder I am dressing warmer. Scarves and sweaters are my favorite to wear during this time of the year, I only wish I had more.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Six. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Six. - Owners Manual. - Today I had to break out my owners manual for my car since I have no idea what the little light indicates that has been popping up recently. Apparently my tire pressure is low. I'm starting to grow tired of this car, already, because every since the wreck nothing has been the same. I suppose I'll have to get Mr. V to check my tire pressure, hopefully I didn't run over a nail!

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Five. - Seven Months Old. - My pup turned seven this month. She's getting so big, I can't believe it!

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Four. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Four. - Happy Sweet Sixteen. - My adorable little cousin invited us to celebrate her Sweet Sixteen birthday. In every girl's life this is a special moment for them and it's suppose to be an extravagant ordeal, or at least MTV likes to think so. Anyway, we had a low key dinner with her boyfriend, Mom, Dad, Brother & his girlfriend, and a couple of her friends. The restaurant was a little Italian place and it was really neat. As you can see all the walls are written all over and there are booths, with doors, in the outer walls. In the middle there is a dance floor with a piano, drums and a microphone. Many of the waiters and waitresses got up to perform while our meal was being consumed. My Aunt and Uncle bought her a real white gold Topaz ring, it was gorgeous! We had a great time and I'm so happy we got to share a huge moment in her life. PS : The look on her boyfriend's face, sitting next to her, while they are singing is priceless!

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Three. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Three. - Our Christmas Tree. - My parents lent us this tree last year while we were still on our apartment and while it did fine then I was really hoping to get a real tree that was a bit larger then this one. After putting it off and realizing that the real tree idea wasn't going to happen I decided we should put up our old tree so it would feel a bit more like Christmas to me. Don't get me wrong I think this tree is adorable and our ornaments are lovely but it looks too small in our new home. Eh, such is life and hopefully next year we will be able to purchase a real tree!

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Sun Shadow. - After a few days of really cold weather and the sun no where to be seen, I was delighted when I opened the blinds and saw the sun shining through. I thought the reflection of the blinds on our kitchen cabinets was really cool and decided to snap a photo of it.

Wordless Wednesday.

Wordless Wednesday.

My Christmas WishList.

[ Amazon.com ]

[ Amazon.com - Only SEVEN bucks! ]

[Forever 21. ]

Honestly, I have no idea what I want this Christmas. I'm more excited about buying everyone else's presents. If I really had to decided I would like the Lush products because I've heard rave reviews about them. And I want Bare Minerals in Fairly Light and their Blemish Theraphy, both on Amazon.com.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-One. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-One. - Happily Ever After. - This is a gift we were given while spending time with Mr. V's Mom on her birthday. The gift wasn't from here but a friend of the family and I found the book adorable! They also gave us a beautiful frame to put wedding photos, of course, in. People can be so generous and surprising at times.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty. - Home Sick. - I ended up leaving work today due to a case of the stomach virus that has been going around these past couple of weeks. I tried to stick it out as long as I could but just continued to feel worse as the day went on. I always hate going home sick, or even early, because if the store were to get busy it would be easier if two people were there. But spending the entire day in the bathroom, while at work, wasn't my idea of a good time and I knew I'd feel more comfortable at home. Sometimes leaving work early and going home is really the best option.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Nine. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Nine. - Happy Birthday to You! - We met up with my mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, for her birthday. Mr. V decided to give her a red wireless mouse since she just bought a new laptop and hates the mouse pad on it. We had great conversation and delicious food.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Eight. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Eight. - This Old House. - While driving my cousin back to her house we decided to stop by my old house. She lives out in the country and we used to live a block away from her, in the same subdivision. Now when we lived at this house it looked now where near that nice, mind you that is a mobile home, but it was in the process of being fixed up. My jaw literally dropped when I saw it because it looks nothing like I remember. I'm just so glad people are taking care of the house unlike the rest of the neighborhood.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Seven. - The Sleepover. - Let me just say I haven't a sleep over since I was a kid, probably, so this was really fun for me. My cousin, who is turning sixteen on Saturday, came to keep me company while Mr. V was out of town. We had the most fun just sitting on the floor taking photos together after we did each others make-up. Yes, I know that sounds childish but I think every now and then you need one of these, a sleepover. I know I miss being a kid, sometimes.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Six. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Six. - Lonely Wife. - Mr. V went camping with the boys and I couldn't bear to sleep alone in our bed. So, I slept on the couch all weekend. This may sound absurd but since we've been together we've slept apart maybe three times and I've never been alone in that house, overnight, so it was a little strange for me.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Five. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Five. - Puppy Love. - Just a shot of Mr. V and Bella before bedtime. I can't believe how big she is getting! And, yes, Mr. V does have to carry her to bed every night because she is smart now and knows that giving her a treat means crate time and refuses to even step foot in the room with her crate. Oh, what a spoiled pup I have.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Four. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Four. - Stamps of the States. - One of my duties of working in a office is stamping outgoing mail and I found these stamps really interesting. Each stamp had a different state on them with their flag printed on it. Pretty cool, eh?

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Three. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Three. - Bride & Groom Thank-You's. - Finally, almost two months after the wedding, I purchased Thank-You cards to sent out to everyone who came to the wedding. Each pay day I would tell Mr. V that we needed to purchase, and send them out, but I kept putting it off until now. Hopefully it won't be another month before I stamp and send them off.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Two. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Twenty-Two. - Let it Snow. - Who can pass up a sale? Not me, obviously. I got five pairs of these bad boys, in various colors, for only ten dollars. I'm sure you wondering what they are, but I'll never tell.
