Day Three Hundred & Fifty-Six. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Sixty-Five. - Coordinating Colors. - My Mother has taken it upon herself to buy decorations for our Guest Bathroom, no complaints here! The towels were given, as a Bridal Shower Gift, to us from a good friend of ours and I just love the colors. Since we were in desperate need of a new shower curtain, the ex-roomate left his but it was black and pretty smelly, Mom bought us one for Christmas. It doesn't exactly match the towels, or the other green decorations I have, but it blends together very nicely. The true color of the shower curtain wasn't picked up by my camera but you get the idea, right?

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Project 365.

Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Sun Shadow. - After a few days of really cold weather and the sun no where to be seen, I was delighted when I opened the blinds and saw the sun shining through. I thought the reflection of the blinds on our kitchen cabinets was really cool and decided to snap a photo of it.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty-Five. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty-Five. - Silveware Sets. - Back to Bed Bath and Beyond, again, to switch out the Bar Stool for a counter height one and we decided to look around. We found ourselves at silveware for whatever reason. Since a lot of things I put on the wedding registry were not bought we are going to have to slowly get them ourselves. Forks, spoons and knifes are something we need yet we couldn't agree on a set we both liked. I thought his were ugly and he thought mine were too plain but eventually we will find one we both can be happy with and purchase it.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty-One. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty-One. - Bar Stool(s). - This is what we bought inside of a shower curtain, bar stools! And beer mugs. Much more fun. We bought two bar stools but only set up one to make sure it would actually fit under our Island. Looks like we needed the shorter ones these are a bit too tall. But I love the way the look in the kitchen and the color of the wood.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Eighty. - Guest Bathroom. - I am now slowly able to decorate the guest bathroom and we have yet to replace the shower curtain from our former room mate's stay. Since we were given a Gift Card from my co-workers to Bed Bath and Beyond we decided to see what they had to offer. None of them really caught my eye and they were pretty over priced, in my opinion. The ones I did like wouldn't match the towels we already have in there so I gave up and decided to find shower curtains at a different store another time.

Day Two Hundred & Twenty-Two. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Twenty-Two. - New Computer Chair. - Instead of continuing to use the Dining Room chair as our "office chair" we decided it was time to buy a real one. There is just something about a Dining Room chair that just ins't comfortable, go figure. After getting to Best Buy we found out that the chairs are outrageously expensive and settled on a small semi-comfortable black desk chair, that reclines, for a little over forty dollars. And when we are able to we will upgrade to a much nicer on in the future.

Day Two Hundred & Fifteen. - Project 365.

Day Two Hundred & Fifteen. - Mowing Day. - After nursing our hangovers for the better part of the day we decided it was time to get up and start finishing up things that needed to be done around the house, especially mowing. Since we still have quite a bit of construction around us trash some how magically ends up in our yards, the neighbors too, and so I had to pick up all that before he could mow. Our lawn is finally starting to turn green though and not look like it's dying which is a huge improvment from when we first moved in.

Day One Hundred & Ninety-Five. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Ninety-Five. - Be Our Guest! - Instead of having roomates we have utilized our two bedrooms for much nicer things. One is now a guest room, shown here, and the other is a computer/office room. One I'm able to I'd like to spruce up this guest bedroom and make it look much nicer.

Day One Hundred & Eighty-Five. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Eighty-Five. - Bedside Lamp. - I recieved this from my Mother after she came up for a visit. It reminds me of the lamp in the Pixar film commericals which is probably why I like it so much. And it has that "old-timey" feel to it. I'm not to sure if it actually matches the colors in our bedroom but it will do for now, just needs a light bulb!

Day One Hundred & Sixty-Five. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Sixty-Five. - Dresser Drawers. - After having our new bedroom set, including a new dresser, for about a month now I decided it was about time to move my clothes from our old one to the new one. And what a better time the laundry night, right? I just love the color of the wood and how spacious the drawers are compared to our old one.

Day One Hundred & Sixty-Two. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Sixty-Two. - Italian Bistro Theme. - For my kitchen I've decided to have an, obviously, Bistro esque theme, and my room mate gave us these which will go perfectly with what I have planned. Now, I just have to find a place to put them!

Day One Hundred & Fifty-Eight. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Fifty-Eight. - Our Culdesac. - This is a view of our quaint little neighborhood from our front door. I can't wait until the tree in our front yard gets bigger.

Day One Hundred & Fifty-Four. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Fifty-Four. - Yet Another Ceiling Fan. - This ceiling fan we decided to put up in the living room because, honestly, it was getting a bit stuffy in there. Although it's not William's favorite he still let me choose the living room fan and I picked this one. For me I think it's very pretty and will look even better once we have the living room decorated, my Aunt and Uncle thinks it looks "classy". Three against one, can't beat that.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Nine. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Nine. - Upgraded to a Queen. - Since we decided not to buy Living Room furniture per our original plan we decided to get all new Bedroom furniture and a new mattress. The one thing that we looked for was being able to sit against our headboard comfortably. And as you can tell this new bedroom set has two, comfy, black cushions. I also am in love with the dark wood and our brand new night stands. It really does make me rather excited for decorating our room as well.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Seven. - Wall Art. - Our room mate, my good friend, gave us this painting for our kitchen. Since my theme is "Italian Bistro" I thought it fit perfectly. It is also the first painting we nailed into our walls at the house. Pretty nice to be able to hang whatever I want anytime I want to.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Five. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Five. - Window Coverings for Back Door. - While we were at Lowe's looking at the traditional mini-blinds to go on our sliding glass patio door we were asking the lady for help and she suggested these cloth "mini-blinds". Considering that they were about half the price of our original idea we decided to go ahead and get them. What a great choice, it looks fantastic in our kitchen. And they will probably last much longer then the flimsy old plastic ones.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Four. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Four. - First HouseWarming Gift. - Not the greatest picture but at least you get an idea of what it looks like. My, dear, mother bought us a lovely little mantel clock for our home. One problem : We don't have a mantel anymore because the idea of having a fireplace, that cost extra, wasn't something we wanted. So, the lovely little mantel clock got put above our kitchen counters, obviously, and I have to say that it looks rather nice up there. Good job, Mom.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Three. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred& Forty-Three. - First Shower. - I have to admit that although I am a fan of the separate tub/shower combo, I'm not a huge fan of our "standard" size shower. It's a good thing William and I, really, like being around one another, eh?

Day One Hundred & Forty-One. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Forty-One. - Glimpse of a Sunrise. - This is proof that I was up before, even, the birds were. Six in the am to be exact. It was a beautiful morning though the air was still and everything was quiet and peaceful. The air was cool and there was a slight breeze. I loved the way the sky looked, too, so I just had to capture it. Especially since I'll probably never be up this early again on a Saturday.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day One Hundred & Thirty-Seven. - The Finished Result. - And here is the result of our beautiful, amazingly quiet, ceiling fan. I really think it looks a lot better in person, but I do love that you can flip the fan blades and have a darker color or a lighter color. Of course I prefer the darker color, obviously.
