Day Fifty. - Project 365.

Day Fifty. - And So It Began... - While at work the previous day I started feeling cold, which never happens to me I'm usually always hot, and my throat was starting to hurt a bit. After I got home feeling as if I'd been ran over by a semi-truck I took my temperature and sure enough I had a fever. I was also in a immense amount of pain since my shoulder had been bothering me all day, I'm not good at dealing with pain or being sick. I tried to lay down and rest with my heating pad but the pain was too much and I just wanted to sleep. By this time it was only around 7:30 pm but I took some Ny quill and dozed off for the rest of the evening. You'd think I'd get sick while William was sick for two weeks, or while my co-workers were sick off and on, but no I have to get sick after everyone is better. Let's just hope mine only last a few days, otherwise I will be truly miserable.

Day Forty-Nine. - Project 365.

Day Forty-Nine. - A Hint Of Scent. - While we were visiting my Mom she gave me this "Flameless Candle", her and my Dad are pretty allergic to strong scents, with a light Vanilla fragrance. I must admit that it took about ten minutes for me to read the directions and put this Candle together but it does add a nice smell to the apartment that isn't too overwhelming, most of the time. I guess this is a good thing to have for clumsy people like myself who might start a fire with a real candle, though I've not had that happen to my personally, and you can switch the flame part on or off depending on your mood.

Wordless Wednesday.

Wordless Wednesday.

Day Forty-Eight. - Project 365.

Day Forty-Eight. - Broccoli Tortellini Soup. - The first time I made this recipe it didn't come out like soup at all but the next few times, I added another can of chicken broth, have been much better. I actually think I've become obsessed with Tortellini and this recipe altogether. But on a cold, windy, day nothing warms you up like a hot bowl of soup. Plus it takes about 15 minutes to prepare so it can't get better then that.

Day Forty-Seven. - Project 365.

Day Forty-Seven. - Little Ol' Town. - For my Mom's birthday we drove down, two and a half hours, to visit them out in the country. After we got there we had to drive another 45 minutes to get to town to be able to be on time for our appointment at the "spa". I say, "spa", because it was actually a Cosmetology School but were treating ourselves to facials, pedicures and manicures so it was like a Spa Day. The school was actually right in the middle of Down Town across from this beautiful building, one of the great things about small towns, that was built with stone, as opposed to our wooden buildings these days, to keep them from catching on fire. Anyway, the weather was beautiful, except for it being extremely windy, and I just had to snap a photo before we left back home.
