Day Three Hundred & Thirty-Four. - Happy Sweet Sixteen. - My adorable little cousin invited us to celebrate her Sweet Sixteen birthday. In every girl's life this is a special moment for them and it's suppose to be an extravagant ordeal, or at least MTV likes to think so. Anyway, we had a low key dinner with her boyfriend, Mom, Dad, Brother & his girlfriend, and a couple of her friends. The restaurant was a little Italian place and it was really neat. As you can see all the walls are written all over and there are booths, with doors, in the outer walls. In the middle there is a dance floor with a piano, drums and a microphone. Many of the waiters and waitresses got up to perform while our meal was being consumed. My Aunt and Uncle bought her a real white gold Topaz ring, it was gorgeous! We had a great time and I'm so happy we got to share a huge moment in her life. PS : The look on her boyfriend's face, sitting next to her, while they are singing is priceless!

Day Three Hundred & Seventeen. - Project 365.
Day Three Hundred & Seventeen. - The Eve of Thanksgiving. - My parents, and brother, drove up the day before Thanksgiving and didn't end up getting to our place until around eight in the evening. My brother showed up first since my parents had to stop and run and errand, and made a wrong turn. I still can't get over the fact that in seven short months my little brother will be twenty one. The kids are all grown up now.

Day Two Hundred & Seventy-One. - Project 365.
Day Two Hundred & Seventy-One. - Dinner with the In-Laws. - We were invited to dinner with William's family and made the drive up to see them all. William snapped the picture, he was nervous, too fast before I could even look up and I hid Michelle. Oops. I have never fit in so well with a family that wasn't my own and I love that they love me. I wrote a little note to Grandma Hall telling her that I wish she was able to be at the wedding and that we have a CD of the video for her. Hopefully she will like that and not be too mad that her health wouldn't let her come to the wedding, I know she had been looking forward to it. After everything settles down we will have to make a special trip to see her and show her all the photos.

Day Two Hundred & Thirty-Three. - Project 365.
Day Two Hundred & Thirty-Three. - Rest in Peace, Memaw. - It has been four years since I've visited her grave, I haven't been back since the day of her funeral, and every time I visit my parents I tell myself that I should visit her grave but I never do. This time, I did, my parents and I walked up to the grave yard and stood there for a couple of seconds. I had planned to sit there and just cry and talk with her but I wanted to do it alone. A few tears rolled down my eyes and I had to walk away. The fact of the matter is that visiting her grave made her passing away even more real. I think it gave me the closure that I needed and to be able to not feel guilty any longer. It didn't make it easier, though, and nothing ever will. There won't be a day that she doesn't cross my mind but at least now I can stop beating myself up about it.

Day Two Hundred & Thirty-Two. - Project 365.
Day Two Hundred & Thirty-Two. - On The Road Again. Last minute I decided to drive down to my parents house since it's my Dad's birthday. I had planned on not going because of gas, and lack of money. My Aunt also has Cancer and they aren't giving her much more time, a Breakfast is planned on her honor for the following weekend but I will be unable to attend, so I decided to go to visit her as well. I've never driven down to my parents by myself so it was quite an adventure especially since I ended up getting off course. And since there is hardly any signal where my parents live, or anywhere near it, it was quite frusterating trying to get directions with words being cut off and calls being dropped. I finally found my way to their house. I have to admit it was a nice, relaxing, little mini-vacation and I'm really glad I took the time to make the trip.

Day Two Hundred & Twelve. - Project 365.
Day Two Hundred & Twelve. - The Epic Build. - William's family came over, Dad, Brother and Sister, to visit and for William to help his brother build his new computer. This photo, to me, looks like a mess right now but after sitting on the carpet for at least four hours it finally started to come together.
PS : Epic is his younger brothers favorite word hence the reason it was used.

Day One Hundred & Ninety. - Project 365.
Day One Hundred & Ninety. - Pen Pals. - We recieved this card from William's Grandmother today and it totally captures her. She has two cats that she just adores so I wouldn't have expected anything less. It is such a sweet gesture and nice of her to drop a line. Now I've got to remember to put a stamp on her card and send it out.

Day One Hundred & Sixty-Four. - Project 365.
Day One Hundred & Sixty-Four. - HouseWarming Card. - While we were in Kansas visiting William's Grandmother we got the pleasure of staying with his Aunt and Uncle overnight. I wish I hadn't forgotten my camera so I could have taken photos of how beautiful Kansas is everything was so vibrant with summer color. Anyway, his Aunt and Uncle had the most beautiful house, too, that they had just had custom built. We got the stay in there basement, which was pretty much the size of our house, and it was just really a great expierence. The morning before we left his Aunt, who is such a nice lady, gave us this card for our new home. I didn't even know HouseWarming Cards existed but I was very thankful and thought it was a very nice gesture, especially since this is my first time meeting them!

Day One Hundred & Fifty-Two. - Project 365.
Day One Hundred & Fifty-Two. - Tasty Summer Treat. - On Father's Day my family decided to come up and visit us, and see the house, and I offered to cook lunch for my Dad. It's probably the first time my parents have ever seen me cook a real meal so of course they were pretty excited and decided to take pictures while I was cooking, I cooked beef tips and mashed potatoes. After lunch we opened up a couple of Watermelon and stood around the island in the kitchen at ate them. It was really nice to spend time with my family and do something special for my Dad, I think it's better then any silly little gift I could have bought him.

Day One Hundred & Forty-Two. - Project 365.
Day One Hundred & Forty-Two. - Happy Birthday, Van! - I can't believe that my little brother, who once was short and rather annoying, is all grown up now. Twenty years old. Of course he was embarrassed by my Mother and myself who were snapping as many pictures as we possibly could while was unwrapping his gifts. We ended up going to dinner a restaurant that his girlfriend waitresses at so she spent a lot of time over at our table talking with my parents. I'm really glad that he was in the states and that we were able to celebrate his birthday with him.
I'm finally in the right month! :)
